Podcast Episode #13 – 200 MPH Extraordinary Woman

Episode #13 of the Xtraordinary Living podcast is out. The topic is 200 MPH Extraordinary Woman.

In this episode I interview PL&L client Susan Robertson, who became the world’s fastest woman in open wheeled motorcycle racing when she posted a 205 mph run on the race course at El Mirage, California on July 17, 2005. Land Speed Racing is a unique sport that consists of very determined people who drive motorcycles, hot rods, streamliners, and even diesel trucks to “shoot the salt” at the Bonneville Salt Flats — in a quest to push the limits.

In this 13th episode you’ll hear:
– How Susan’s interests as a young girl led to this out-of-the-ordinary hobby.
– Why she pursues the challenge of breaking speed records, in a competition where both men and women are gauged equally.
– How the PL&L courses she has taken through her position at Red Mountain Retail Group (RMRG), along with the ones she has taken on her own have influenced her drive to lead an extraordinary life.
– What do her boyfriend, family and friends think about her “hobby.”
– Hear how she had to make a decision to “make her run” after a tragic accident occurred prior to her scheduled event.
